Hey guys. Well... I have this setup (some items are still on the way so i haven't tested anything yet)

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H
CPU: Intel i5-3570K
GPU: EVGA 660GTX Superclocked 2048MB.
PSU: Corsair Enthusiast Series 650W 80 Plus Bronze Certified.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB(2x4GB) 1600MHz.
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB

So far the case i have is a Thermaltake Soprano RS 101 with all the fan slots in use.

I've read alot that Ivy Bridge CPUs tend to run somewhat hotter than the other CPUs, so i was thinking about getting a new CPU cooler and a better case.

Looking at the CM Hyper 212 Evo, many people say that combined with a good thermal paste (Artyc 5 probably...) it drops alot the temps, however i've also read that the size of this cooler may not fit either my motherboard because it may hit some capacitors (i don't think it will, even though this motherboard has some very close to the CPU slot) or may not even fit in the case because of it's height.

I really like the style and the features of both Antec 902 V3 and 1100 cases, but i'm afraid they won't fit a big CPU Cooler.

If any of you have a similar setup or one of these cases with the Hyper 212 Evo, can you please tell me if you had any problems, if you had to do some modding to the case to make the cooler fit or something?

Also, if there's no option left than getting another Cooler or Case, which one would you recommend?

Thank you in advance.

The cooler will fit in either of those cases
The 1100 is a newer and has better cable management . But the 902 is also very good . Buy the one you like

Expensive Thermal paste is a scam . The ideal amount to use is as little as possible so there is as much metal to metal contact as possible . Its not worth paying for anything when some already ships with the cooler

Are you sure it will fit in both cases? I read somewhere that someone had to cut off a piece of the side fan of the Antec 902 to make the CM Hyper 212 fit.

I completely agree 100%, you do not need to buy extra thermal compound. There's only two exceptions: when the paste included is plaster paris grade (Xigmatek) or when you run out, but that's probably never going to happen. The idea is to use very little and spread it around.
