Ok. So my motherboard crashed on my U300s about 9 months into owning it. With a repair warranty, I sent it to Lenovo, who replaced my motherboard for free. They sent it back to me, and since then I haven't been able to successfully put the computer to sleep. The screen goes black but the fan won't stop running and the power buttons all remain on. I changed power settings, advanced power settings, gone back to original power settings, gone into command and run powercfg.exe -energy, with no errors found.... I've made sure my computer's wireless card was set to allow the computer to sleep... I've tried practically everything I found on these threads. I thought maybe updating from Win 7 or Win 8 would help, so I've done that... to no avail. Do I need to reformat? How do I reformat and SSD safely?

Any advice is sooooo welcome!
