Opinions about this PSU?

First time builder, just wondering if anyone has used this specific model, or any PSU made by Rosewill, Thanks.

More about opinions psu
  1. Sounds good 80+ cert, go for it...
  2. Didn't see any real reviews of the 750W model, though hardware secrets did like the 650W unit. I'd be a bit wary as it's not sourced by one of the better OEMs.

Do you really need a 750W PSU?
  3. So have u bought that ? What is your PC ?

And sounds a good one. Certanly it will not fail and i found this review

  4. I saw that one, but its not a real review.

That's how they test it? Where is the 100% load test? And the "OC'd" CPU is a big 3.0GHz instead of 2.8GHz? With a single CPU and a single GTX260, that's a joke of a test.
  5. Well i saw that too. That was the best i could find :) But it seem a good 80+ PSU. Semi modular. PciE connectors etc etc .

    3Year warranty.

Im not saying i would buy it. I personally prefer XFX/Seasonic/Corsair/Antec and some CM. But rosewill have shown some good PSU's. That i asked his system to know if hee needs this psu.
  6. If you want to see how the Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-750 performs just read the reviews for the OCZ ZS Series 750W (OCZ-ZS750W) since they're both based on exactly the same OEM High Power (Sirtec) platform. The only difference is that the OCZ model isn't modular.
