Windows 8 PC stuck in automatic repair loop

I was using my pc on win7 (i have twopartions one for 8 one for 7) i rebooted for 7 to install new updates, but it booted into 8 and started coming up with automatic repair htne diagnosing your pc, then restarting coming up with the HP logo. Is there any way to get out of this so i can boot into 7?

Use Win 8's repair feature to restart the computer in safe mode, then once it's booted, open a run prompt (Win + R) and type "msconfig".
From there you'll be able to adjust boot settings, to include creating a dual-boot environment, or just booting directly to Windows 7.
