Is there a need for AA at 2560x1440?

Like the title says. i heard at a few places that anti-aliasing is not needed at this resolution but I wouldn't be able to know that. Is 2560x1440 so big everything looks smooth without AA?

At a high resolution like 2560x1440 the image will be pretty smooth, however there is always room for improvement, and thats where AA comes in.

For the most part however you should be able to get away with leaving it off and still have very clean image, it's just a nice thing to have on.
