this might be a stupid question, but when i open windows media player and i go into library, my songs and videos are there, i never put them there, so does windows media player automatically sync your songs and videos into it so u can play them from there without having to go through your music/video folders?

Solution
It does that by default, but you can change it under options. There are a lot of options to set to get a minimum level of privacy: don't update libraries automtically , don't download media info from the internet, don't send unique player id and so on.

Lucky you!!!!!..I cant even get it to put albums in to their respective place..example: it separates sgt peppers into 'two albums!..even when i have used the list 'album...when i try the other way lit, 'album/artist..the same thing.
and that's in default mode......are you using windows 7 like me?........

My fake windows 7 in China was stunning every media folder[album entered perfectly...no errors never crashed...but the original Oh God please I can't wait for the Chinese to develop their own O/S...it will be amazing......and unlike Microsoft..it will work.....
