Please help!
My computer keeps exhibiting some strange problems and I can't pinpoint the issue. I thought it was the motherboard and switched it but some problems persist.

1. Computer shuts down randomly. Not necessarily during intensive workloads. No BSOD, it will just shut off. It won't turn back on when I press the power button. Then at a random interval of time later, it'll turn back on.
2. Like #1, even when the computer was shut down properly and off for several hours even, sometimes it won't turn on when I press the power button. If I press the button though, it will randomly turn on later.
3. Sometimes when the computer boots (with or without the above issues), one monitor will not display. A reboot will fix this.
4. Sometimes when the computer boots, the entire screen will be... hazy/fuzzy. A reboot will fix this. This only started recently.

So I had a Gigabyte Z68 board before and suspected it to be the problem. Switched it out and my computer's still acting strange. It's only been a few hours so I haven't observed all four of the above, but it seems to be persist since the computer shut off randomly a couple times. With the slight chance that it may be the CPU, I'm pretty sure it's the PSU now. Asus voltage calculator recommends 700W, outervision eXtreme recommends 500W.
I have a couple questions.

1. Do you agree that it's a PSU issue?
2. Is my PSU too weak? Or do I have a bad unit?
3. What would be the recommended wattage for my system?
4. What would be the recommended wattage If I decide to add another 6970 later?

Thank you everybody!!

You should be fine with a quality 500W-550W for your needs now - using a quality 750W-800W will provide power for a system in X-Fire
To answer your questions
1) It sure seems like a PSU issue (although ram can mimic those issues)
2) The Antec PSU should be capable of powering your current system no problem, so I would think the PSU is possibly malfunctioning
3) See opening statement
4) See opening statement
Hope it helps

Yup, exactly this.
