Update locked me out of ultimate

My DEll Windows computer has windows 7 ultimate 64. I updated it one night. The next day I was told I was using the wrong user/password combination. In fact I am not allowed to type anything in.Pushing on any of the f keys won't help either.

Try giving both shift keys a few quick presses, then retyping.

Dell <----found your problem. Seriously though, give them a call (even though they are pretty useless). Is it still on warranty? Do you have a repair disk? If so try that.

I tried the two shift key idea and then thought of something else.I was right. One of the updates was incompatible with my beloved case logic wireless keyboard. I just had to put another one on.

I have a Dell Latitude 6530. I just replaced the HDD w/Win 7 Ultimate. It locks me out intermittently. This is the second time I've replaced the OS. I've tried pressing every key - no luck. Reboot one or more times. Sometimes I can get in w/password sometimes not. I hate Dell.
