I know the thread name has been used before, but bear with me here. This question is very unique.

I need a tablet/laptop convertible PC, with these specs as a minimum:

Win 7 or 8 Pro, 64-bit
Intel i5-3210M (2.5 GHz)
8GB RAM
250GB HDD 7200RPM or 250GB SSD (an SSD cache may make up for lower RPM)
Integrated Wacom, N-trig, or S-pen
802.11 a/g/n dual band
10/100/1000 Ethernet (a docking station with ethernet works too)
3 year onsite accidental damage coverage

A school I'm planning to attend requires all student in the engineering department to have a convertible tablet like, or better than this. They suggested these computers as good options, though some required customization to get up to spec:
Fujitsu T732 or T902
Lenovo Thinkpad X230T
HP Revolve 810 G1
HP EliteBook 2760P

Now, what I'm looking for is a way to custom build a convertible tablet so I can have greater control over the parts used. Does anyone know of a place that offers something like this? Or, for that matter, any other non-custom tablets that fit those specs? I have a budget of $2300.

Ah, not quite. I need a convertible tablet, not a slate. The keyboard is kid of necessary. The specs though are the general gist of what I need.
