XFX 650w enough?

That 7970 Ghz needs ~340W on peak + some OC. So that Great quality XFX will do the job. Its made from seasonic (another good brand ) .

What i posted is a furmark W. So its above the game requieremnts. On game like crysis 3 it will go at ~320W . Other games will move from 250W-300W. So im not wrong

You must be blind or something. In the charts its written Card Power Consumtion !!
And in the first one hardcop read System power is 63W. So do some math and substract that from total power consumption.

The review tells us that the 480 system is pulling 1600W. Your math says 225*4=900W .
That leaves us with 700W . The i7 TPD is 130W . So your telling me that 700W is being pulled by the rest of the system ? You must be kiding.
So plz next time try not to post .You confuse other's with that. Learn more and help others !

And i am trying to teach you.Thats a myth how the 6 and 8 pin can deliver more than 75W and 150W.
But they can do it. The 8 pin its the same as 6 pin but it just has 2 extra grounds to keep the power on. If the card would require more than 75W and the PCIe should provide it the cable would melt.
So the 6 and 8 pin can deliver more than 75 and 150W.
Did u read the review. They used a meter to view the W pulled from the plug.

Granted we did use two very high energy efficient power supplies rated 88~90%, this actually helps saving us a little on power consumption.

-.- -.- If you had you wouldnt ask what was the quote i wrote !!PSU its rated 90%. So 1600W lower a bit but still that system wouldnt pull more than 200W w/o GPU. So you are wrong !
