I am doing a first-time gaming PC build and have a few more questions.

1. A lot of people in the forms suggest to get a 990 over 970 if you plan to overclock but no explanations why. Is it just easier to overclock, or can you get higher speeds or what? please explain. Is there anything else that makes the 990 better besides for SLI and added newer Connections? I would get the 990 but my budget is running really tight And don't want to spend the money for something I don't absolutely need

2. I heard that the FX series processors native speed is 1866 MHz Does that does that mean I should get that speed ram or is 1600 okay or even 1333?

3. Gpu - 1920x1080 single monitor 1gb is plenty ram right? Seems like everybody's builds has 2 GB. Might pick this up today seems like a really good deal with 1 ms resonse time

Here is my list

CPU - fx 4300
GPU - sapphire hd7850 1gb
PSU - Thermaltake Smart series 550W
RAM - Undecided/any suggestions?
Mobo - ....

1. well newer chipse will give you more flexibility and possibly better overclocking ability so yea go with the better one
2. stick with 1866, if you get a slower ram your entire system will run slower
3. 7850 is OK but not the best for that resolution...of course the more you pay the better performance you will get...don't be expecting to be maxing out every game with that graphics card
you can get this mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157281
