I want to play the top of the line games on highest graphics without any kind of disturbances. I have come up with some parts from other sites suggesting them, but no matter how i twist and turn I cant figure out if they all would fit together, socket on motherboard and socket to CPU i have checked, they fit. but how to check graphic card and what else i must get specifically- those r things i want you guys to tell me. Im trusting u! xD

At the moment my base idea is...
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP5 TH
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770
GPU: either Nvidia GTX670 or maybe 660Ti

8 gb ram, of course.
Harddrives will be solved later.

Also, As a second idea (depending on personal economy) i wish to have watercooling. so what needs to be changed to what.
Keep in mind, TOP ULTRA graphics with hiiiigh awesome fps ^^

xoxo

Actually, the extreme edition i7 won't give a massive boost over the likes of 3770k, especially when OC'd. Besides, 1 690>1 Titan. Titan is better only when you want to SLI, really

Also the i7 IB chip in general is probably ill spent money... games do not use hyperthreading so there is no real advantage to that chip over an i5, so if you're going watercooling I would just as soon go for the i5 3570k w/ OC. Your bottleneck won't be the cpu if you're running at 4ghz anyways so put that money into something else :p

when you say watercooling i'm assumin that you mean a custom loop like this ? http://desktopped.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/watercool-22.jpg for a CPU only loop you can get kits for around a 100pounds. if you wish to add the GPU to the loop i'd say around 200 pounds or more.also if you do watercooling you have to keep that in mind when choosing case you have to keep in mind radiator and reservoir placement.

Hi :)

it is still overkill XD

Hi :)

I bought mine because at the time...it was the BEST in the world....or overkill in your words....

Those two choices are a matter of opinion.....

Its why I drive a Porsche and not a tin box Ford....

All the best Brett :)

true but there is not much to gain unless you go 2560x1440 or 5760x1080 or similar

Hi :)

I run 3 monitors on one Gaming machine...the first I put a 7990 in....so amazing that I bought another 7990 for my Office gaming machine which is only single monitor....that's amazing as well... :)

All the best Brett :)

sure if you have the money to play around with I guess do you have a WC loop ?

Hi :)

Nope, just big ally Lian - Li cases with a few fans....the 7990s have 3 fans on them anyway....loud though at full chat....

I did consider putting both in one machine for quad/cf but no real point....

All the best Brett :)

My advice :
Go for i7 xxxx - LA2011 - better future and quad memory channel
Go for LGA 2011 mainboard - quad memory channel and 2 - 3 - 4 way SLI & CROSSFIRE
Go for SSD 128 or more - for OS
You wanna ULTRA GAME Performance -> you must have 2 x VGA AMD or NVIDIA and 3 x Monitors in Multidisplay or Eyefinity - personaly i`ll wait for AMD 8xxx to show up ...... soon :) and i`ll go for 8870 or 8990 and maybe Eyefinity
That will need a 1000 - 1200 W PSU - for 2 x 7990 for example :)
Forget about WaterCooling - my i7 3820 and Air Arctic Cooler LGA 2011 is under 1500 rpm and CPU temp under 50 grad C - full load for 30 min ..... my old HDD`s make more noise than all 6 fans ......

Good luck !

Hi :)

My company is an AMD dealer.... the 8000 series will NOT be released until 2014 :(

All the best Brett :)
