Hello all, I was installing Lightworks video editing software and it was installing visual basic 2005 rd when out of nowhere it gave me this blue screen error. After I restarted the computer, the crash happened again and again. I have done a power cycle to clear any damaged files in the ram. I have tried running disk sector checks twice, and now the computer won't even boot into safe mode for me to grab the dump files.

Anyone have any ideas?

well from what can gather it is an Invalid Software interrupt. May I ask what tools you have at your disposal if any to attempt running a virtual OS to recover or alter files in you HDD. I would recommend a HI-REN DVD or a Linux live CD if you are comfortable with this type of method. running a live cd will allow you the ability to remove offending software that could have installed improperly and clear any temp files that are contributing. if you or a friend are comfortable another method would be to attach your HDD to another computer and remove the offending install and temp files that way.
