hey im looking to build my new gaming rig and i was just wandering if this would be a good one? and would the cooler fit roof mounted in the case without modding it? would the cooler be in the way of anything? This is my first real build so any help/ advice is much appreciated

Motherboard-Asus sabertooth z77
CPU-i5 3570k oc @ 4.7mhz CPU cooler- Corsair H100i
GPU-EVGA GTX 660 ftw signature 2 3gb
Ram-G.skill trident x 2400mhz 16gb (2x8)
HDD- Western digital black caviar 2tb
Case- Coolermaster cm690 ii advanced black and white edition

It will fit but only with fans in the push format. the only way you could do a push / pull on fans on that case is get slim fans for the top/pull fans as the room under the case top is limited. I have the same exact case for my other PC that I let my kids play on.

the top mount can accommodate radiator sizes of 120mm 140mm 240mm and 280mm so yes the cooler will work in that case.

EDIT: you will just have to see what the max is but you can see 4.5GHz CPU and 2133MHz ram speeds but over that it will depend.
yes it should all work together BUT be aware that you may not get the frequency's you are looking for just because every part Overclocks differently.
you may not get the ram to the 2400MHz it is rated to because of the limitations of the memory controller in the CPU. All parts will work together but the max OC will depend on the parts.

Alright thank you! Your very helpful!! I've heard that push is better than push/push because of difficulty cleaning the rad, I'm new to building pc's haha so I don't know alot or understand alot of stuff haha, but thankyou! You've been a great help!!
