Well i got this Toshiba Satellite L655D-SP6001M that wont display anything at all like the title says, it have like 2 yrs of use and i was using it just fine one day and the next day it started giving me problems ...so anyways when i press the power botton it turn on but nothing shows up.
I tried connecting it to a monitor and nothing too , also tried get out the batteries and unplug the power cable and hold the power botton for 2 mis+ and then get everything back and still black screen

Another things i tried were , getting out the RAMs and try the 2 of em one by one in the two different slots and still same result.

So.. anyone have any idea what could be going wrong? Or you think my video just died on me and i gotta change the whole MB o.o

Yeaa ik its a bit late but i still have issues with this , the charger seems to be ok i didnt use a voltimeter.. but i used it with a friend's lap also toshiba and works well.
So... i guess is the mb? or something related to the integrated video into the mb right?

Thanks

At first, it did look like a video adapter issue. Since your computer runs on integrated graphics, then yes, it's most likely the motherboard.

Does the computer have a history of overheating issues or at least running hotter than normal?

Also, did you check the internal cables to make sure everything was adequately plugged in? Some things get loose sometimes. It's something of a rare occurence, but it does happen.

Well indeed.. my bro used to place the laptop on his legs for a very long time and it would get really hot ... also he put it several times on the bed while he was using it ...
So i would say that the lap might got to more than 70° degrees many times, and the last time it turned on my bro was also using it, so when he turn it off and tried to turn on again next day... it didnt display anything.

Placing a laptop on the bed blocks the intakes and traps the heat beneath the laptop. I can't provide a 100% accurate answer, but the repeated usage behavior you suggest does seem like the trigger, and thus implies that the laptop most likely overheat.

Based on your information and without actually checking the laptop, I think overheating is the most likely cause.
