Hi, situation is like this:

I have a computer with special software, customer abroad has a Laptop and connect multimedia center via etherner port to this laptop, I want to connect directly to customers ethernet port so I can program that multimedia center using a software in my PC. I know the ip address of multimedia center, but I cannot ping to it then I use hamachi port bridging.

Any information would be very helpfull

Hi, can you please explain me little bit more how it will work? How I can take control of the device which is connected via ethernet port to remote computer?

Thanks

Simplest way would be to use a third party VPN such as GoToMyPC or LogMeIn...

You simply have your client install the third party app on their PC and setup an account that you can log into to remote control their computer. This is not the most secure because you have to rely on the third part to not share your password. If you want a secure system I would get a Cisco Router that has a VPN combiner on it and have the client install the Cisco VPN client on their computer. This route requires you to know a little about VPN and how to set it up though.
