Hey Community!

After searching for it I notice a lot of similar problems but nothing exactly like mine. I have an issue in which my primary drive (an OCZ Agility 3) seemingly disconnects from the motherboard randomly (while in use) and unless I cold boot the machine, it stays disconnected. I only have to leave it off for 10-20 seconds and then it's fine. I've had the drive for about a year, issue started ~6 months ago. Happens three or four times a week, if not more.

Things I have done:
updated all firmware and drivers
tested sata cables and tried alternative ports

About the machine:
i5 2500k with an h100 cooling it
gigabyte z68x-UD3H-b3
16gb gskill ripjaws X
gigabyte gtx 680
samsung 840 128gb ssd
Windows 7 Pro

Any suggestions on how to resolve the issue with the OCZ agility drive?

If not easily resolved, it is possible to move the OS and all file to another already installed drive smoothly? Anyone have a link to a guide?

Thanks in advance, the help is much appreciated!

This has happened to me with one of the older Agility 2 drives. Have you downloaded the newest firmware and installed it? Check the site. Their customer support was not that bad either, I would start with that route first. If you want, try swapping the drive out into a different SATA port. If that doesn't work the chances are it is the SSD.
