-micro-atx board works fine. Still has 4ram slots, not overclockable and no SLI/Crossfire.
-Upgraded to 1tb HDD at 64mb cache
-The NZXT Tempest 210 is a better case, but it's up to the OP aesthetics. You can just choose any ~$50 case really.
-Upgraded to a 500w psu for future upgrades.

At that budget, I'd say go with AMD. The best friend for a nice budget gaming PC. You can of course overclock it. The processor that best fits that budget is AMD FX 6300 (3.5 GHz, 6 core, unlocked).

PS: To be honest, I like that case very much. Lots and Lots of air can flow through it, so, you're safe for OC too!
