Boot Time extremely slow with samsung 840 pro

I built my pc which includes intel 3930k on sabretooth x79 board. It has 16 mb memory with geforce 680 4gb. Something is causing the system to boot slow. when I boot it takes almost a minute for everything to come up. When I was first installing my programs, it was almost instantaneous. I checked the bios and ahci is checked. The boot order shows the ssd boot manager, then ssd and then optical drive.

I checked the ssd and the speeds are fine. I disabled the intel rst driver but everything is still slow. Also, all drivers are updated and current. I have the ssd and 2 hdd set on the intel 6gb controller. As I said this was not a problem before, something seems to slow this down. I ran atto and my disk gets up to 530k read and 561k write.

Any idea what may be causing this?

Hi

Disconnect the 2 non ssd drives to test if one of them is failing.... see if you get your speed back....

Did what you suggested on the hard drives and that did not do anything. I ran as ssd but hae no idea how to attach the file to my response. Also, here is the bootlog, not sure if this will help. I did boot into safe mode and it booted very quickly. I also removed all of the startup programs in msconfig but the loading was still very slow.

Also, I reverted to the previous bios but that did not help, so I reinstalled the current one. Also, used autoruns to make sure nothing is loading. As I mentioned before, when I do safe mode it loads quickly so there must be something that is loading that is causing the hang. My boot load is listed above. Thanks for looking at this.

I think I'll resurrect this as I have the same thing going on. Boot time is 7 seconds longer (to login screen) than an Intel 320 on the same controller, with the same settings.

I suspect a driver conflict slowing down the boot process, but haven't figured it out yet.

What is your mobo and chipset? I have an FX-8350 paired with an Asrock Extreme9 990fx and it takes around 25 to 30 secs to boot. I'm not sure what's going on but I enabled fast boot in my UEFI and also did msconfig and disabled alot of the programs. My OS is windows 8 if that matters.
