Hello I'm first time computer builder and I think my parts will work together but I just want to make sure. Here are me specs. Also if there is any ware to cut coast that would great! Let me know if I need anything else and other advice that would help. Thanks a lot!

Everything should fit, physically... My question is why are you using a laptop hard drive? And why Hitachi? They suck. The desktop version of the travelstar is called deskstar-- and often referred to as 'deathstars'.

check out pcpartpicker.com to find the best deals on drives. I'd suggest Western Digital, Seagate, or Samsung. NEVER toshiba, fujitsu, or hitachi. I'm not a big fan of maxtor either, but that's just me.
