i have an asrock g41m-vs3 Motherboard
4GB ram
intel core 2 duo E7400 2.8ghz

it happend to me since i changed my GPU from g41 chipset thats a built in gpu
to a geforce gt-610 2gb forsa edition

games like mw3 bf3 were 5 times faster everything seemed perfect but after like
2 -3 hours the screen went black and i had to reboot to get it back on i changed my windows 7 home premium 32 bit into windows 7 ultimate 64 bit so i can use my full amount of ram(s) but it wasn't the problem i opened my pc cleaned it unplugged my gpu and replugged it but nothing worked the monitor still keeps going black while playing games, surfing the net , even when windows is idle

but takes more time when idle to go black than the time that is taken for playing games or surfing the net

Sounds like a GPU problem. How hot is your GPU getting at idle and while gaming? Have you tried going back to the on board graphics. If the problem goes away with on board graphics, you may need better airflow in your case to keep the discreet GPU cool. Can you add another fan or a faster one that flows more air. If it is not too hot you should just return your card for a new one or send it in for warranty replacement. At least you will have a GPU to get you by until the new one arrives!

OK u might be right but i would like to know if i can fix it i mean sometimes i play games for like 6hrs and nothing happens but some other times i can only play games for like 20mins then the screen shuts down and the sound keeps repeating the last letter till i reboot

and yeah the on board graphics means  play games
