I'm thinking of upgrading my graphics card in the next 1-2 months and I've chosen this one because it seems to be one of the best single cards in my budget. My concern is that it is a year old. Does this make it a bad purchase?

Its a beastly card indeed, but be aware that its voltage locked, and there seems to be an issue with the dual link DVI port. Something to do with the firmware associated with it from what I've heard. Only half of them seem to work at 2560x1600, however it will work fine for 1920x1080.

I don't intend on overclocking this card, so the voltage shouldn't be a problem.
Is the card fine at Eyefinity resolutions? I would like to play games at max settings at 1920x1080 and with slightly lower settings at 5760x1080.
