wanted to hear opinions on this cuz im deciding on one. ill be using a single monitor not a big fan of multiple monitors idk why. I was learning more on the hd 7970 because its roughly $100 cheaper and they are roughly the same. I kinda want to future proof a little ( I use that term lightly ) but which one would last me longer? I do plan on sli/CF eventually but i want to play on high/ultra settings for a good while, lets throw out say 2-3 yrs.
GTX 680 or HD 7970 for single monitor?
