I changed one setting from automatic to T1 in the bios and now the computer will not boot at all.
I hit reset and got the message the bios are corrupt and the it attempted to boot from either usb or floppy (I have no floppy) and no saved rescue on flash.
Is this repairable? I'm feeling worried. I just upgraded the HD, Ram and OS.

Hard reset the BIOS (reset to default state) by doing the following:

Disconnect all power sources (power cable, monitor, powered speakers)
Press the power button to discharge any residual power stored in system components (seriously)
Open case and locate the motherboard coin-style battery.
Remove the battery and wait 1 minute and put the battery back in place (this will reset your BIOS to its original state).
Re-assemble the system and re-connect your devices and power.

You should be good to go at this point to adjust your BIOS as needed. Good luck!

Yes I got the bios back after removing the battery. All this occured because I was attempting to adjust things to make my audio work without drop outs and crashes. I have an RME Fireface 800 8 channel digital audio converter I use as my sound card. It worked flawlessly with XP and I've had nothing but trouble with Win 7. Any suggestions?
Thank You for all your help COLGeek and alexoiu.
