Hello,

I have a HP Pavilion g7 laptop, which should be able to run some games, these are my specs:
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
CPU: Core i7 (3rd gen but I don't know which one)
RAM: 6 GB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7670M

My problem is that I think my video card is not being used/detected. The 7670M is an OK card for not too intensive games, but I get lag when playing GTA: San Andreas on high settings, while that game is 8 years old. When I launched Skyrim for the first time, the only option in the Graphics Adaptor dropdown was Intel HD Graphics 4000 (I believe that's the integrated graphics of my CPU). I tried installing new drivers from the AMD site, I got redirected to a Catalyst Tool, but when I installed and launched it it said I had incompatible hardware. So to sum things up: I think my videocard is not being detected. Any help would be more than welcome. Thank you!

Give the game a play and see what happens. If the problem is still there, we will continue.

I haven't downloaded the game again (I deleted it), but Skyrim still gives Intel HD Graphics as the only option for Graphics Adapter (I don't know if Graphics Adapter = video card)
