Alright so long-story short I sold my gaming pc and am using my older one, with a AMD Radeon HD 6950 GPU and a on-board GPU, ATI Radeon HD 3200. Well, to get my 6950 to work I needed the drivers, so I installed the ones off my Gigabyte disc for the card. It worked, however the driver is 10.11 and I want the newer ones. Well I uninstalled this driver, restarted my pc, installed the new one for my correct GPU, and restarted again. Well it says I don't have the driver installed and when I look at the driver, it says corrupted. I have tried many different things to get it to work, including not restarting my pc after uninstalling the old one, and many others. If you need any more information just ask. I am just looking for tips, or if you can, how to do it. Thanks.

Sadly I have done this many times already. Even tried installing the drivers through the device manager

Try this, install the older 10.11 drivers from the disc provided.

After you do this, download the updated drivers (13.1, or 13.3 beta drivers) and then just run them- dont delete the older drivers- just run the new downloaded ones and they will do all the necessary overrides and such.

Let me know if this works.
