Fallout 3 GOTY , stops responding at baby scene

i can get past the cinematic no problem but when you are about to be born it does the noise as normal but then nothing happens screen still black and audio is just a machine doing stuff in the background , can anyone help me ? if it helps its Windows live version retail but i doubt that has anything to do with it

System specs :- Intel i3 @ 3.07GHz
4GB ram DDR3
Nvidia GeForce GT320

    I vaguely remember going into the game's config file and changing the option to use multiple cores... make it whatever it isn't now and try playing the game.

    but where exacly cant hardly find it with this amount of text in the config file

    i do but no fallout.ini i can provide screen cap if you dont believe me , ive searched threw the hole FALLOUT Config file and see no bUseThreadedAI

    scratch that , ive found it , took me a while but i found it , but still there is no bUseThreadedAIin there what so ever , dunno what to look under ive checked everything from general all the way to the bottom
