HI I have just Bought a new 750W xxx pro series PSU and noticed it is V2.2 24pin same as my Mobo but on my original 24pin power at the bottom left there is one pin missing and in all there is 5 connections missing from my original 24 pin power but my new XFX XXX 750W There is only ( 1 missing ) i should have double checked mu Board before buying it but if i have more connections to my board in my opinion it will cause either it not to turn on or to blow something i phoned up and asked before purchase if it was backwards compatible the guy just said it will work on all atx 24pin motherboards and he sounded confused about the backwards compatibility issue anyway i do not want to try to plug it in if there is any chance of a issue but is there any kind of an adapter i could use before i start sending stuff back ?/////

If motherboard is 24 pin and PSU is 24 pin, there is nothing to worry about. Your old PSU was probably a poor quality one that was originally 20pin and converted to a 24. Also, please learn how to use some punctuation. That post was a nightmare to read. :pt1cable:

V2.2 just means it is a new model of that series. You are fine.
