sandisk cruzer pop not recognized by windows 8 ??

sandisk cruzer pop not recognized by windows 8 HP pavilion g6. please help it is not in disk management so i don't know what else to do. thanks :)

1) Try it in a different USB slot. Reboot and see if the BIOS detects it.
2) Try it in a different computer. If the other computer picks it up, great.

If neither of the two suggestions work, contact Sandisk. Those drives have between a 1 and 5 year warranty.
