So like I said last week in another thread, my PC's PSU apparently died. There was a burning smell coming from it

I ordered a new PSU. It came in yesterday.

Just now I went to install it, and I was sure I plugged everything in right: to the mother board, GPU, disk drive, and hard drive

But when I turn it all on, the monitor gets no signal. I've turned it on with the cover off, and the fan on the GPU spins, as does the fan on the processor and the one plugged into the mother board. So I'm assuming THOSE parts are getting power (though the processor and mother board fan stop after a moment, idk if that is normal)

so I guess either the GPU isn't properly plugged into... something, or the hard drive isn't getting power? I'm about half certain it's plugged in right so I have no idea what could be wrong.

My friend had almost this exact issue, turns out his CPU had somehow managed to kill itself (overheated?). If the CPU is not dead, then I would have a few questions:
What CPU do you have?
What motherboard do you have?
What PSU do you have?
