I have 4 sticks of corsair vengeance 4 gb 1866 (one with big heatsinks).

I have a gigabyte ga-x79s-up5-wifi mobo.

I have a seidon 120 mm liquid cooler with the stock azza genesis 9000 120 mm fan. (Cyberpowerpc didn't give me my upgraded fans or put the stock fan that comes with the cooler) with the i7 3830 CPU. My cpu gets to 61C during Prime95.

I wanted to do a pushpull config on the radiator, but the heatsinks of the RAM won't allow room. For dual channel for the ram, it requires slots 1,2,,4, which makes it not able to put a push fan on the back of the radiator.

Is it possible to move to move the big heatsink corsair vengeance from slot 3 and move it to slot 5, and ADD a low profile 4 gb corsair vengeance 1866 RAM into the slot 3 so I can add my push fan?

If I can, or any suggestions, what fan should I add (both a push and pull fan) to my radiator.

Thanks for the help!!

As long as you get the same speed, cas latency and timings on the low profile ram then it will work with the current ram that you have.

You can add the pull fan outside the case to have the push/pull effect , as long as the fan is tight up against the back of the case you'll get the same effect as if it was attached to the radiator inside the case.

How do I tell? I recordered some of the info on my RAM. It says 9-10-9-27. (I'm guessing the timings) 283274 is one number. 1.50v version 5.12. Another number on it is 130406859.

I have this one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233142

THis should work, should it not? I wish I could find it in black. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233240&Tpk=CML8GX3M2A1866C9R&IsVirtualParent=1

The important numbers, 9-10-9-27 on both, 1.5v on both, dual channel on both, and cas latency 9 on both means that you can use them both together and they will work together.

As far as installing the fan outside the case where the radiator is mounted, do you understand that you don't have to install the fan inside to have it work with cooling the radiator and be the pull in the push/pull configuration?
