I have an assignment from School to build a Budget PC and a Dream PC. I selected some of the parts for these PCs from a thread by "DeusAres" .

So please I need someone to verify these parts or suggest other parts I could add or remove with reasons while I should choose or remove any part? Thanks.

You don't need mcafee total protection just use windows 8 defender, or windows 7/vista MSE and their firewall.

Assasin has a good start. Only a couple of things I would change:
8gb of ram is good enough for gaming.
You could get a 850w modular 80+plat for the same price as the 950w.
Grab a standard 128gb SSD.
Don't think you need a blu-ray optical drive for gaming.
