So recently this week while playing WoW my PC crashed and my PC wouldn't start back up. The crash was just an instant turn off so there wasn't any notification or anything it just died. It boots up after about 5-10 minutes of letting it sit. I have cleaned out the case and graphics card for dust. I put new thermal paste on my CPU too. It doesn't crash unless I am running WoW AND being busy (actually fighting and casting spells etc). If WoW is just running in the background it doesn't crash.

Below is a picture of my hardware monitor screen with temperatures and voltages.

This week was the first time I cleaned out my GPU's fan but the fan is spinning now and clean.

Help PLEASE!!

I agree with rgd1101's suspicion that your PSU is the likely culprit. The dead give away is that the system will restart several minutes later. A complete list of your system specs and budget would be useful for recommendations as well.

That's a Coolermaster PSU, from one of their worst lines. Although one of the few actually capable of outputting the 500W on its label, it does not do so cleanly, and its efficiency has begun to drop, indicating it is nearing its limit. Note all the FAILs beginning at under 400W: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Cooler-Master-eXtreme-Power-Plus-500-W-Power-Supply-Review/728/7 then consider that capacitor aging has no doubt made it worse.
This "device" needs to be replaced, ASAP. When it shuts off, chances are it may have begun to wander further out of spec, possibly risking other parts.
Your system should easily run on a good 500W PSU. I would recommend any made by Seasonic (their own, XFX, some Antec), FSP (their own, some Antec), Delta (some Antec), Enermax/LEPA (their own) or Super Flower (Rosewill Capstone, some Kingwin).

This is multitalent02, I bought a new power supply. A 700W one from best buy just to try before I order one next week.

I have it plugged in correctly, and I turn the PC on and the PSU's fan turns on for 2 seconds and then turns off again. My computer turns off in like 5 seconds before it even loads.

i would recheck all the cable connector on the system and the cpu fan also did you remove the graphic card when you dust it she could not be seated well in the motherboard slot i would also check if the cpu cooler is well fix on the board and that the fan spin .

I did that with my old psu. My new psu regardless of seeing that screen still shuts down. I have a corsair gs700. I have all things plugged in.

My old psu let's my computer turn on but obviously it still crashes when playing wow.

Did I buy a faulty psu or wtf
