ps3 to hp connection for wifi

Which device do you want wifi access on the ps3 or computer. Either device would have to either act as an "access point", or your computers network card would need "AD HOC" mode. This lets the wifi card act like a router and lets other things connect to it wirelessly (such as another laptop). Most laptops and computer nic cards don't support this and neither does the playstation.
If you have a second router, that could be plugged in and set up as an access point, but I am supposing you do not by your question.
