Hi,

Does my Patriot 32GB SSD PS-100 died ?

I have CrystalBench 200Mb/s read speeds, but only 32MBs write speeds

Any idea?

Thanks in advance...

Gary

PS: is a SataII 2.5" device.

Solution
Your drive appears to be normal. CrystalDiskMark uses highly incompressible data to test Read/Write speeds. Highly incompressible data is the hardest type of data for any SSD to Read/Write.

Test your drive with ATTO software. ATTO uses highly compressible data to test Read/Write speeds. Highly compressible data is the easiest type of data for any SSD to Read/Write.

Found this amazing review:

http://www.overclockerstech.com/patriot-ps100-solid-state-drive-review/all/1/

Seems like Patriot never got factory writte rates... Will send a customer complaint to Patriot for fake advertising... will keep tunned about what they´ll say...

Thanks for advices!
