I completed my first build today. Started up first time. Ran Prime95 blend test for 1 hour, looked good. I then went ahead and did the conservative OC-Genie overclock.

Build description below.

Question 1:
OC genie overclocked processor to 4.2 ghz.
Running Prime 95 is stable.
Idle Temp: 30-33C
Max Core Temp: 62C*
*While running Prime95 Blend test.

Is 62C too high under these conditions? Average temp during the blend tests was 53-58C.

Question 2:
Speedfan shows a "Temp2: -128C" . Obviously this is incorrect. Is it something to worry about>? Bug in program or something wrong in computer?

Question 3:
The Sentey Case did not come with a manual, only a slip that wasnt helpful during installation. The case has 2 USB 3.0 ports in the top front of the case. These ports have exiting USB cables (with male ends). Where would these connect to? Ports in back of computer?

Thanks in advance!

Solution
Hi Shane:
1) 62C in Prime95 is good actually. Any other 'real' CPU usage won't generate the heat that Prime95 does, and 62 is well within specs anyway- all good.
2) not sure on this one, I wouldn't worry myself, but I'll leave this to someone else to answer properly
3) your motherboard should have USB headers where your front USB ports plug in to. Check your MB manual if you can't find them.
Nice build, enjoy!
