Hello,

I have been using Ethernet on my computer since past 3-4 years but never have got such a problem. Actually i had my internet connection cut off for few months and now when i have re-established it again, i am having this problem. This does not happen always but often and in some times it has really become a huge problem. I use a wireless + 4 port ADSL router and have a broadband connection. I have no issues with the speed, it is working as it should but often when i am surfing the internet suddenly the network symbol shows an error (showing the yellow triangle and saying connected but no internet access). I checked the router but it was not showing any problem and the devices on Wi-Fi were also working good. But, when i restart the pc or disable and re-enable the Local Area Network connection, it starts working again and often the error lasts for a couple of minutes only. I am have been unable to solve this problem. So, any advice or help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

@mel201 thanks for reply..i followed your instructions but my device driver (Intel 82578DC Gigabit Network Connection) seems to be up to date. I saw an option in properties "reduce link speed in stand by" i unchecked it..however, i do not normally put my pc to stand by..but i hope it makes an effect and i will try to change the network cable as well...
