My Razer Lachesis finally stopped working on me after 6 years of use and I decided to try a new mouse today. I picked up the Steelseries Sensei and I'm not all that happy with the quality and acceleration of it. It also makes my hand sweat and I've never had that problem before. The best thing about it was the scroll wheel and all the options available. Would anyone happen to have a suggestion for a good gaming mouse with a laser with minimum of 4000 dpi?

I have a Roccat Kone XTD, I really like it. http://www.roccat.org/Products/Gaming-Mice/ROCCAT-Kone-XTD/
I use Roccat mouses for a long time, for me, they fit perfectly in my hand. But some of my friends say, it is too big for them. In the end, the shape of the mouse all comes down to preferences.

Pros:
1. High DPI
2. Great software / driver
3. Build quality. Some reviews say different, but I never had any problems with the mouse - or Roccat in general

Cons:
1. Macros do not work properly in BF3 - I have no idea why

Thanks for the reply, I looked into it and I have never even really heard of that company before which is good to know. I've come down to two mouses that I really like based on reviews and quality. I'm looking toward the Razer Taipan or the 2013 Deathadder.

Ok. Roccat is a German company, specialized in high end gaming mouses.

I bought a new mouse a couple months ago. It's hard to recommend without getting more details on your pref.s. I wanted an ergonomic mouse, 5K+ dpi, durable, lots of buttons, wired, good software, on board profiles, with a good US based warranty (2+ years).

I narrowed it down to the CM Storm Sentinel Advance II, the Corsair M90, and Anker's mouse.

Corsair sold me with the Sniper button which lowers the DPI for sniping and the sale (got it for $35). I wasn't sure if I would actually like the feature, but I love it and use it all the time. The mouse is heavy and took awhile to get used to, but I'm very happy with it.
