Alright... I got lots of help and feedback figuring out my build
http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Anthroadryn/saved/1nDp

I have all the parts, the last of it should be arriving today.
Now comes the part that I've been worried about, putting it together.

As far as setting it up... I was planning on doing a Raid setup with the 2 HDs. I'm unsure as to whether Raid 0 or Raid 1 is better. Raid 1 seems safer, while Raid 0 is more space efficient?

Also I was wanting to install the OS on the SSD - along with like one other game, the game I'm sure I just add at a later time pretty simple, but not sure of the procedure to putting OS on SSD.

I have http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_56kyib-Ls already linked to me from the previous thread, if there's any other videos that may help with the specifics that I'm asking for (Raid setup and OS on SSD) they'd be very helpful.

Thanks.

For your RAID configuration, your motherboard manual is going to be your friend. Read through the RAID configuration steps in there then, read through them again. It will either be understandable and easy to follow or will introduce terms and concepts you are unfamiliar with (I don't think so though). After going through that section of the manual a few times, break out your specific questions - we'll be waiting
RAID 0 is for speed nd is pretty much useless when an SSD is faster and safer

Plug in ONLY the drive you want to install windows on . Add the others later

Enter BIOS and set the dvd drive to be the first boot device . Put the windows disk in the drive and retsart with the power button

Alright so with 2 1TB HD Raid 1 would probably be the smarter choice since it's more secure.

So I'll put it all together minus the 2 HD - do what you said, then add the 2 HD. Gotcha. Thank you.

So... I managed to get everything working without the aftermarket heat sink.
I have a friend that would be able to help me with that at a later time if need be. Currently using the default, which shouldn't be a problem since I don't have a plan of OC'ing.

OS is installed on the SSD just fine. Last thing I need to do is set up Raid Config for the other 2 HDs, which I'm not exactly sure how to do that.

Yeah I figured it out... I had some help with the actual installation from a friend on skype .w.
It wasn't too hard once I just kind of had at it more.

Thanks again Friedman with all the help you've provided. On the new rig now, have Raid set up - OS on SSD, and it's lookin' good .w.
