Need maximum overclocking speed

I have a year old custom built computer with these specs:
CPU: I7-2600K (3.4)
Ram: 2x4 kingston ddr3 1333mhz
Graphics: Amd radeon hd 6700
Hardrive: 1 Tb

I want to know how to get the most speed because I do not know mich about overclocking properly

Then you need to invest your own time, and research overclocking guides, there are some Stickied above here at THGF or use Google.

What motherboard do you have? Even though you have a K series CPU doesn't mean you can overclock it if your motherboard doesn't support it.

Also, as has been mentioned, an aftermarket cpu cooler is a must.

my system wasn't stable above 4.6Ghz, but I was able to get up to 5Ghz. It was pretty hot up that high too.

It would be in your best interest to learn the ins/ outs of overclocking instead of just asking for a setup. Not trying to sound like we're blowing you off, but nothing in the world of overclocking is a guarantee. Every component in the OC is unique. One proc. may be capable of something, while another of the same make/ model isn't.

You can get yourself into a lot of trouble if you venture into deep water and dont know how to get back out (you could also damage your machine beyond repair!)

Basically, it takes a bit of knowledge and research on the users behalf. Read twice, execute once. But have fun while doing it
