Sorry to bother, but I have a question regarding removing driveletters for HDD's. When removing a driveletter for a HDD under disk management. What will W7 do in this case. Will this action require a change ON the physical HDD itself as well?
I ask because I got a HDD which is entirely encrypted. So if it is not mounted and windows makes some software change to the drive as well when removing the driveletter under disk management. I'm afraid it will blow away my truecrypted data..........
Sure I have backups, but still scared as hell.
