So ive been having the same problem as everyone else in here with the 1002 error and ive been looking around everywhere for a solution to this on/off flick that occurs once a while.

" The IP address lease 192.168.1.xx for the Network Card with network address has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.1.xx (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message). "

Windows 7( firewall on )
Avast anti-virus(firewall on)

Linksys E1000(DHCP)
Linksys WRT54G2(DHCP Disabled) <- Used as a wireless station to reach the rest of the house

I have tried
-reseting my router
-DNS flushing
-release/renew
-static IP'ing
-DHCP reservation
-Full Anti-virus scan + CCleaner

none of them worked only the router reset which made the gap inbetween the flicks a bit bigger but not gone.

i'm in desperate need of your help, i don't know if its my Onboard Ethernet port thats half working half not or its the router thats doing something weird. The cable is new as i thought it was the reason but it wasnt..

Hopefully you're smarter than me and can help me fix my problem.

Best regards Aleksander.

That mean the ROUTER send a message say denied. Only the router would know why it did not want to accept a DHCP request...in this case it was likely a renewal.

The best solution if you cannot find why the router is being bad is to use a static IP setting. Even though you said you did this I can't see how you could have. Once you put a IP in the PC it will always use it no matter if it is wrong or it is duplicated or whatever. It will always use it. Now this is not a static DHCP IP you set in the router you actually key it in the PC itself.

I did put in the ip my self on the PC, but it kept on diconnecting me from the internet and then after a second it would reconnect me until the lease ended :/ .
It still gave me the OpCode : IpLeaseDenied .

Hmm, i can't think of anything else that would cause this problem. I just took an extra look on my logs and the "timings" when it occurs, they arent all marked :/ i get one 20:55 and then 21:35 or something like that but inbetween those timings theres more than 1 drop/flick disconnect/reconnect ...

I just went through my logs agin and i just spotted one message(warning) i got yesterday and some the day before saying

"Your computer was not able to renew its address from the network (from the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address xxxxxxx. The following error occurred: 0x490. Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server.."

Could it be my "Onboard netport/ethernet" having problems when getting overloaded it just shutsdown for a second?, if that even exist. I looked into my PC to see if i could see anything unusual and suddenly the lights on my "Onboard netport/ethernet" turned off and then on again and again turned off and turned on again ?.

This almost has to be a bug or a misconfiguration. The only way to set static IP addresses is to disable the DHCP. If you have disabled the DHCP then it won't send any messages. So I have no idea why it would still be using DHCP after you told it to use the assigned address on your PC.
