I have currently got a budget build with an AMD A10 5800k and I'm starting to want more power in the gaming department I was looking into doing crossfire with a 6670 but I've heard about problems where some games just don't like crossfire. So would it be a good idea to just use a discrete GPU? If so then what should I go for?

Thanks Tom

It's unfortunate that you find yourself in this position. Hybrid CF is not a great solution, and matching the 5800K with a discrete card means you might as well have bought a superior CPU without a strong IGP, so you've wasted your money.

Nonetheless, I'd go for the best discrete card you can buy and forget about CF altogether.

So is there any particular graphics card that would be best for me I'm kind of new to this and I've heard about bottlenecking and I don't want to get something that I will never see the performance of.

I know this is an old thread but I made the same mistake and bought the A10 5800k and put in a gtx 670 which was a big mistake because I cant use the cards full power. So now I got to buy a whole new computer with an I5 or above to utilize all the gpu. If u do the same thing I did, u will notice bottlenecking in crisis very badly even on low setting it will bottleneck occasionally. but above medium settings your screwed, same thing goes for any cpu intensive games there just isn't enough power form the A10. Don't waste ur money with that mother board buy a computer from cyberpowerpc or Ibuypowepc great place to start with pre built gaming machines.
