I have looked at this for a while, and the best cases I can see are the HAF series and the Thermaltake Overseer RX-I. I personally like the look of the Overseer, but performance comes first. It has to has 2.5 ssd compatibility and usb 3.0 front with a atx motherboard. (my fav color is green, so I would extra like a case in that color, but there doesn't seem to be as many has red or blues)
@ bigcyco1, props for the Fractal R4, was gonna buy that but all there was was windows at the time. That and the c70 in green, but no matching green screen
lol yeah Fractal R4 is pretty dam good.
What are your intended cooling and filter needs? Some cases are better for liquid cooling than others, Usually what goes in is a major case factor. Air filters, and the ease of cleaning them also counts.
Thanks for your responses, but it seems I should clarify that I really want reasons one case is better than the other. I've looked up the HAF series, Fractal R4. Corsair Vengence C70 (I surpisingly like the white the best), etc and I just havn't found something completely outstanding in them to offset the rest. So could you explain your favorite cases around $100 and why you like them? It seemed to me the fractal design is alot more focused on sound dampening than cooling so the haf 922 would be better if you want performance. stuff like that. (I'm buying all my parts either today or tomorrow, a $1100 purchase, so I'm a little nervous about getting the wrong case)
@walterm I don't plan on water cooling, I would like filters, I'll have to move it back and forth from college several times a year, I would like a definite style (not a outrageous one, not a half hearted one)
