Hello,

I custom built my second pc

MSI z77 mpower
i7 3770k
16gb 2x8 kingston
MSI mpowergt670
120g ssd samsung 840 (operating system)
500gb western digital (storage)
windows 8 first (same problem)
windows 7 now

I have been encountering a problem, only on restart where computer fails and says missing bootmgr, but starts up normally otherwise.

I have tried the fix bootmgr commands and drivers. I have researched this for about 2 weeks now with no success...

If you have any advice, it would be much appreciated!

thank you

Well, I ran all the tests on my samsung 840 ssd (which came from my old desktop, and worked fine) and they all show good, and I repaired the files and it says it passed. I'm really stuck on what the problem could be now... I reloaded windows 8 twice and it did the same thing both times and now its doing it on 7.
