Radeon HD7950 Can't Play Far Cry 3 Above Medium, No AA

I saw a post a while back where someone couldn't get their radeon hd 7950 to play far cry 3 past medium settings. I followed all of the advice in that post, and I still can't get the game to work well above medium. I downloaded the AMD catalyst uninstall utility, uninstalled everything, uninstalled all my old nVidia drivers, downloaded and installed the latest catalyst beta 13.3 and it still performs the same.

My processor is an FX8320 OC'd to 4100. I have 16 gigs of ram. What should I do!? I had a GTX 660 Ti and the game ran almost perfectly on Ultra. What is going on?

What do you mean, "Can't play" like 60fps? If so, that might be normal since Farcry 3 is a very demanding game, but you need to be more specific, here is an article you might want to check out to see how your card performs in this game.

The FPS is below 30, with the geforce gtx 660 ti I was getting 60 maxed out. Also everything is extremely choppy.

I had the kids phenom 2 x6 + gtx 570 running it at 60 fps with drops in the high 40's.

Just start editing things to find a good balance between speed/graphics.
