Newegg sent me a CPU with bent pins! I took pictures, how good do you think my chances are of getting my RMA approved?

I was very excited to receive my new AMD FX-8350 yesterday, a significant upgrade from my athlon II x 3 455. However, my excitement was short-lived as I opened the attractive tin box in which the processor came. Ordered from newegg, the plastic case that the actual processor came in was slightly opened, and the processor was sitting askew in the case. I took out my processor, and sure enough, the pins were bent on the side that was pushed against the plastic. How frustrating! I IMMEDIATELY called newegg and requested a RMA and returned the cpu that was sent damaged. After doing this, I decided to see others' experiences with newegg RMA. I read way too many horror stories of people receiving cpus with bent pins and having their RMA denied. Needless to say, I am scared because I have never had someone send me something broken and then say "Oh well, sucks for you." LUCKILY, I was so excited to receive my processor that I took pictures of the unboxing process (I know I am lame). I hope to send these pictures to newegg if they give me any grief. I also took pictures of me packaging the processor to send back to them in case they say it came with other physically damaged parts. Here are the pictures. I would like to know everyone's opinion, and if they think they will help ensure I get the processor I deserve!

CPU plastic protective case arrived slightly opened but not too much. Can't see it but the cpu isn't sitting secure in it.

Took out the processor, it was bent.

Getting ready to repackage and send back to newegg

THIS IS WHAT THE PROCESSOR LOOKED LIKE EXACTLY BEFORE I SENT IT BACK TO NEWEGG. In case they try to dick me and say it was more damaged then it actually was.

No damage to the top of cpu

I actually closed the plastic case nice and snug, unlike how I received it!

Anyway that is all the evidence I have for my RMA. Do guys think it is good enough so I dont have to worry. As you can tell I am anal, paranoid, and EXTREMELY POOR! Let me know. Also, I would like to say I am deeply frustrated by this whole process.

I payed for 3 day shipping and now, even if the RMA is approved, I have to wait for the item to ship back, 2-5 days for them to inspect it to see if I am a dirty liar or not, and then a day to get my processor back. UNACCEPTABLE! Also, if they don't take my word for it and approve it I am going to have to fight them and send these pictures and all of that. I wish I was rich so I could be like whatever stuffhappens Ill buy another one, but I am not. Dont mean to vent but this is frustrating.

So give me your thoughts! Will newegg come through with little grief. Do I have a good case with these pictures? OR am I going to get screwed over and lose 200 bucks..

Thank you for your patience.

Solution
Newegg in general has good customer service. I only had to deal with their customer once back in 2006 or 2007 which involved a motherboard. I placed an order for the wrong one. It took no more than a minute to get an RMA once I was connected to a live person (I don't recall having to wait too long). I only had to pay return shipping which is understandable. No restocking fee was involved.
All you can do is contact newegg and tell them you are very angry that you received a CPU with bent pins and took a picture of the CPU. Make sure you tell them you noticed the pins were bent as soon as you took it out of the box.

Your chances are 50/50 you will get an RMA, make sure you are angry when talking to them, however, do not use poor language.

Intel has a very good return policy, if the CPU is a boxed unit, again be upset on the phone but not belligerent.

Newegg's return policy is not as good as it used to be on some items, including CPUs with bent pins - they suspect you dropped it.

So they are allowed to send you a damaged item and then not replace it? I guess life is not fair sometimes. You pay 200 for a broken item.

I have heard both success stories and failures with bending back pins. I am afraid that if I tried this, then I would thing the pins are straight, and in reality cut the lifespan of the cpu down. This one was supposed to last me 3 or 4 years...
