I have a Asus p8z68 motherboard that is less than a year old. The pcie x16 slot was literally fried. The video card power slot burnt the slot. I sent it back to the manufacturer but they said it was not covered and returned the motherboard unrepaired back to me. I have gotten a newer motherboard since but was wondering if this one could be fixed. I know if it is repaired I risk damaging other parts.
Does anyone have experience with these type of repairs? Where would a person pickup another plastic pcie x16 slot to replace the burnt one!
