Which case would you recommend?
IrishJibber
I am looking for a case with a solid construction that has plenty room for cable management and possible upgrades/additions. Cooling is also important. This is more of a question of which case manufacturers are reputable.

I have the Cooler Master Storm Scout.
Rock Solid = 10/10
Cooling = 9/10 (I screwed an extra fan in the front where the 3.5 bays are making it a 10/10)
Room / Space = 9/10 (If you want a 212 CPU cooler or bigger, need to not use a top side fan)
Cable Management = 6/10 (Just not enough space for a non modular PSU rats nest of wires behind the removable panel that covers the back side of the MOBO) I have a rats nest sitting above my bottom fan.
Over all I would buy the Storm Scout 2 as it did fix a few of my complaints.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119263 a little bit more, but would be so worth it. While your at it buy the cheap 4 pack of 120 mm fans from Cooler Master too as the SS2 does not come with all fans (3 only just like the storm scout) -
I was just doing research and if you are willing to spend a little more here is what I found:
HAF 922
And some of the reviews:
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/716
http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/cooler_master_haf_922_review,1.html
Its $100 with a few discounts to make it $79.00 -
Not to make it as a competition (lol), but if you are willing to spend $99 on the case you might as well want to get the HAF 922 for the same price as the COOLER MASTER CM Storm Scout 2.
My experience with the HAF 922:
Quality: 10/10
Cooling: 9/10 (the fans are just a bit loud, but almost 2x bigger than the COOLER MASTER CM Storm Scout 2 fans)
Cable Management/Room: 10/10 (I have a semi-modular PSU and I can't see any cables out with it being my first build!)
Ease of Use: 11/10 (built it without even using the manual for my first build)
It all depends on what you are putting in it as Heironious said, a big cooler might force you to buy a bigger case, but if you are going to build an entry-level PC, I would either one of the Cooler Masters are fine, I'd personally recommend you the HAF series from my experience but I trust Cooler Master, case is what they are best at. -
There is a good deal on a COOLER MASTER HAF 922 on Newegg -- it is $89.99 after $10.00 rebate card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197
