****Updated READ Bottom part***
_________________________________________________________________
Hey guys I have a little dilemma about how to go about to fix a issue with my PC. I tried to break it down for you guys willing to help so it is a little easier to read and give as much information as i can to help you guys understand my problem and thanks for everyone that helps me out with some advice. :)
PS. SORRY about it being long post.

The story:
P8P67-M Intel P67 with I-7 2600k cpu, 4 2 gb of ddr3 ram and a gtx 560 ti 2gb. So the story is this one day i decided to try and O/C my GPU/CPU with MSI afterburner to 1000 core-clock and while i was running a stress test to see if my PC would run ok. I was looking at the temps i knowdised the average temp went from 30c to 80c (my PC has 3 case fans plus a water cooler) then the PC just blew off and a burnt smell came out of the PC so i was like fuk. I took the PSU switch off and opened my case and knowdised the smell was coming from the PSU exhaust fan.
So i left it alone for a couple days and called a guy that fixes average PCs he came over and I told him what happened and he checked the power for the PSU and found out the PSU was blown so then i went online and bought a Corsair AX850 PSU. waited for it come ship home and when it did i installed it to my PC. Then i turned on my PC it ran smooth through bios and windows start up . So i started to do a windows,GPU driver, etc update you know normal things you would do if your computer has been off for long period of time and everything is out of date. But in the middle of doing a windows service update the PC just turned off on me(computer had been on for around 40-mins and temps were running normal 24c) and started to turn on then shut off then on then off so i turned it off left it off for a couple hours then tried again and it ran again normal ran bios, windows lunch etc normally.
Then this time i was able to finish all my updates and then i started to play some games bc by this time its been running for maybe 1 hour with no problems played Red Orchestra 2(RO2) online with ultra setting with my friend for like 3-4 hours with no problems got off the game bc it was late at night so i did a normal PC shut down on bc i was afraid to leave it on while i slept just incase. So the following morning i turned on my PC and decided to play RO2 again but this time maybe 40mins into the game the PC just shut off on me again and started to turn on the off then on again so i left it off. So by this point i called my PC repair guy again and he told me to bring it to his house so he can take his time and diagnostic on my PC. I left it at his house for couple days so he can try his hand at fixing it and he calls me and tells me Bad news, the PC is doing what has been happening to me and he can pin point the issue.

The question:
So can you guys give me some advice to what to try to do or solutions on how to fix my pc? As well on how to test to find out if it my MOBO or GPU.

The summary:
I tried to O/C my PC with MS afterburner but the PSU Blew out while running a stress test, replaced crap PSU with Corsair AX850 gold cert. and PC will run for short time then randomly shut off then try to turn of then off (while this is happening the MOBO will light up a RED Led light instead of a green light). Had a PC repair guy come by and figure out what is wrong and couldn't pin point the problem because he doesn't have a spare GPU or MOBO good enough for my PC.

Additional info:
Sometimes after the PC does its random shut off it will turn on but there will be no video signal (happens often after a random shut off). Or will turn on but not run bios(happened only twice).

My Thoughts on problem:
I been searching around and reading forum on similar problems and heard that possible pin-point problems could be either my CPU,GPU,RAM, and or MOBO and my thoughts are it could be either a MOBO OR GPU (CPU,I'd hope not).

***update April,30***

After some thought and time with my PC collecting dust, as part of my process of elimination i'm planing on buying a new motherboard to replace the one that is in the PC right now. I've consulted with a couple friends of mine that know more or less about PCs, telling me it is a high possibility it is the motherboard.

So with that in mind can anyone help me out with a good motherboard that is better or just as good as ASUS P8P67-M PRO LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard that isn't discontinued and that will work with my existing intel i7-2600k and gtx 560 ti?

So far i found this MOBO at newegg.com to start with.

(BTW i already replaced the Burnt out PSU with a new corsair ax850)

this look you put the oc to high it burn the psu but it could have been damaging the mobo the cpu and the gpu also the memory sticks ,try to boot with one stick of ram and see if system load and hold do this with all your ram sticks and if you could memtest the rma .

I would take out the video card, run on onboard graphics and see if you can crash it/get it shutdown. Then it's the motherboard for sure. Easy way to diagnose. If it didn't, I would try a different video card and try and crash it/get it to shutdown. If it does, then I'd swap RAM. If it doesn't, then I'd say the video card.

Sorry, but that's a pretty shitty tech that can't do those basic diagnostic things listed above. It's standard process of elimination and any tech should have an extra video card and ram around for testing. Hell, I've even taken stuff from my personal PC to use to test and diagnose before if it comes to it.

yea i didn't personnely try removing the RAm sticks myself but my repair guy did and he said same thing happened. My PC will run as if nothing is wrong, temps run good all fans run good but still shut off after sometime.I tried to look at all the capacitors on everything(except the GPU bc i have to take it apart to look inside of it) I feel like the only option is to buy a new GPU from store iss if it run pc fine if not return it then try buying a new MOBO and trying same thing untill i find the issue. I want to know if theres a better way of figureing this out w/o maybe having to do that. BTW thanks for info not too sure what you mean by memtest

that my problem my MOBO has no on board GPU and i don't have another GPU to swap it out. I don't have any spare ram mem to swap either. about the repair guy he told me he tried doing all the basic trail runs, disconnecting everything trying to run the pc at it bare minimal, taking out ram mem(not sure if he tried swapping out ram with a new one he knows works will ask him tomorrow tho) and he told me he didn't have any spare GPU that can work ony my MOBO.

I'm trying to do all i can with process of elimination GPU>RAM>MOBO>CPU but it hard when i dont have spare parts lol. I'm going to try buy a crap new GPU just to try out see if it is the GPU when i get paid. Is there a way if my comp does turn on and ran for the short time there anyway to run program to see if there error readings?

i just bought a cheapo graphic card just to run a test a geforce gt610 and now the pc wont turn on at all now compared to when i had the gtx560ti it would boot up and load windows stay on for like 40mins then shut off. So what you guys think it is then?
I'm going to run a couple more test saturday just to make sure it not somthing small like not reading ram sticks be4 i return the card

that overclock may have burn also the cpu and the motherboard look carefully with a magnifier to see any bubbled capacitors on the board or any parts that look abnormal .it would also be a good thing to have the memory stick under a memtest .
